Velma L. Gailey

Velma Lois Gailey, 85 of Ohioville passed away early Saturday, December 9, 2017 at her home surrounded by her loving family.

Born April 26, 1932 in Ohioville, she was a daughter of the late George and Sarah Hunter Henderson and had been a lifelong resident of Ohioville. Velma was a faithful member of the New Salem Presbyterian Church, Ohioville.

She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Richard Gailey, 3 children, Michele Pudik, Ohioville, Gregg (Nancy) Gailey, Brighton Twp., Dawn (Mark) Keagy, Industry, and two sisters, Ruth May, South Beaver, and Mary Lou (Kenneth) McCoy, Negley, OH. Velma loved being a grandmother and will be sadly missed by her cherished grandchildren, Ryan Pudik, Brent (Nikki) Gailey, Adam and Gretchen Gailey, Megan (Andrew) Glod, Tiffany and Kimberly Keagy, Lauren, Nathan, and Erin Mick, , and two great grandsons, Maverick and Ryker Gailey. Also surviving are numerous nieces and nephews.

Preceding her in death besides her parents was her son, Jeff Charles Gailey in 1982, 4 brothers, Dale, Art, Lester, and Harold Henderson and a sister, Mabel Mazine.

Friends will be received Monday from 2-4 & 6-8 in the Noll Funeral Home, Inc, 333 Third St., Beaver. A funeral service will be held Tuesday at 11:00 am at the New Salem Presbyterian Church by her pastor, Reverend Jeffrey Marquis.  Interment will follow at the Highland Cemetery.  Online condolences may be shared at nollfuneral.com.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made if desired in Velma’s name to the New Salem Presbyterian Church or to the Alzheimer’s Association.
