Velva L. Krepps

Velva L. Krepps, 94, of Brighton Twp., passed away on May 24, 2025, at home, surrounded by her loving family. Born on June 22, 1930, in Brighton Twp., she was the daughter of the late Harold and Eva Bryner, she was a resident of Brighton Twp. her entire life. Velva was a faithful member of Four Mile Church, where she served as a Deacon and had many active roles in the church. She had worked and retired from the former Beaver Trust, after working for over 20 years in both the Beaver and Brighton Twp. branches. Velva volunteered for the Red Cross and Crimson Auxiliary at Friendship Ridge, and loved to make and share baskets, she would often demonstrate at craft shows. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, James A. Krepps (2019); sisters, Grace Hart, Betty DeVaux, and Dorothy Brooks. Velva will be sadly missed by her sons, Robert (Anne) Krepps, Tucson, AZ, Richard (Rose) Krepps, Brighton Twp., and George Krepps, Brighton Twp.; step-daughter, Marilyn “Penny” (Robert) Brumbaugh, West Palm Beach, FL; brother, Harold “Bill” Bryner, Brighton Twp.; sister, Diana Williams, Ravenswood, West Virginia; grandchildren, James (Leona) Krepps, Michael (Sarah Jane) Krepps, Matthew (Ina) Krepps, Salena Krepps, and Joshua Krepps; and her great-grandchildren, Otto and Cassius Krepps, and Lenore Krepps. Friends will be received in the Noll Funeral Home Inc., 333 Third Street, Beaver, PA 15009, on Sunday June 1, 2025 from 12pm-4pm. A Funeral Service will be conducted on Monday June 2, 2025 at 11am at Four Mile Church, 6078 Tuscarawas Road, Beaver, PA 15009. Online condolences may be shared at www.nollfuneral.com.
