Vernon Robert Nola, 78 of Bessemer and formerly of Midland, passed away Wednesday, May 6, 2015 at Jameson Hospital.
Born November 18, 1936 in Pittsburgh, he was a son of the late Angelo and Philomena Nola, and was a member of Calvary Assembly of Bessemer. A 1956 graduate of Lincoln High School, Midland and Pine Crest Bible Institute of Salisbury Center, New York, he retired from Allied Security.
Preceding him in death, besides his parents, was a brother, Carl Emerson Nola.
He is survived by his wife, Grace Martha Tomasello Nola, whom he married on June 26, 1965, three sons, Vernon, Jr. (Stephanie) Nola, Brighton Township, Douglas (Dannielle) Nola, Erie, Gregory (Rachel) Nola, Big Beaver, three daughters, Jeanne (Larry) Johnson, Center Township, JoAnn (Thomas) Schwerha, Norwalk, OH, Danielle (Chris) Pavkovich, Greer, SC, a sister, Gayle Nola-Ford, Industry, fourteen grandchildren, Angelo, Matthew, Joshua, Alex, Olivia, Benjamin, Aria, Isaac, Jacob, Brittany, Michael, Gabrielle, Jocelyn, Elysse, and a great-granddaughter, London.
Friends will be received Friday from 2 to 4 pm and 6 to 8 pm in the Noll Funeral Home, Inc., 333 Third St., Beaver. A memorial service will be held Saturday at 11:00 am at Calvary Assembly of Bessemer by his pastor, Reverend Gary Arnold. Private interment will take place at the Beaver Cemetery.
