Victor Martinez, Jr.

Victor Martinez, Jr., 88, of Vanport Twp., passed away Saturday, March 2, 2024.

Born May 12, 1935 in Smith Twp., PA, he was a son of the late Victor and Sylvia Fornash Martinez, Sr. A proud veteran of the U.S Army, Victor went on to have a long career with both LTV Steel and as an armed security guard at the Shippingport Nuclear Power Station. He was a member of the Midland Sportsman’s Club and St. Francis Cabrini Church, Center Twp.

Victor will be greatly missed by his beloved wife, Mary V. Kovalesky Martinez; daughters, Theresa (Rich) Stewart and Victoria (Timothy) Regrut; brother, Raymond (Jackie) Martinez; sisters, June Watazychyn and Phylis (Lee) Breyer; grandchildren, Richard (Ashley) Stewart, Jr., Kimberly (Tim Martin) Stewart, Jessica (Zac Patterson) Regrut and Timothy (Tylyn) Regrut; along with great-grandchildren, Harper Patterson, Chloe Stewart and Aubrey Martin.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother-in-law, Alex Watazychyn.
