Victoria L. Razo, 64 of Beaver- nurse, mother, wife, daughter and sister extraordinaire, two-time breast cancer warrior – went Home to Heaven on November 27, 2019 with her family at her side. She was born March 4, 1955 at New Brighton Hospital, the beloved daughter of Marie Sallade Bogovich, Vanport and the late Edward Bogovich. She and her husband, Victor Razo, recently celebrated 40 years of marriage. Besides her cherished husband, Vicki was the devoted and loving mother of Meredith Razo (Matt) Bohon, Industry and Matthew Razo, Brighton Twp. Her children were her life and love. She is also survived by her treasured sister Michelle (Gary) Doyle, Brighton Twp, special nephew and niece, Michael and Jessica Kolback, the grandson of her heart, Vincent Majzlik and her faithful canine companion, Hanz.
Vicki was a 1973 graduate of Beaver Area High School and a graduate of the Community College of Beaver County. She served as an RN at Sewickley Hospital sharing joy in labor and delivery for more than 25 years. She had a passion for her Eastern European ancestry and supported her children and other members of the dance troupes, Slavjane and Jadran, for many years. She also served as a scout leader, JROTC parent and Red Hat Society member. Vicki was a devout Roman Catholic and member of Saints Peter and Paul Parish, Beaver,and part of the church’s Marian Guild. Her faith was her foundation and she lived it.
She will be greatly missed by friends and her many family members to whom she always extended a helping hand and shared her time. In addition to her father, she is now reunited with her brother, Bruce, who passed away in 1973 whom she never stopped missing and her late grandparents, Louis and E. Louise Clinton Sallade and Joseph and Barbara Hodnick Bogovich. The family would like to thank Vicki’s friend Kay for being a ministering angel to their own angel during her last weeks.
Friends will be received Monday from 6-8 and Tuesday from 2-4 & 6-8 in the Noll Funeral Home, Inc., 333 Third St. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday at 10:00 am at Saints Peter and Paul Church, celebrated by her Pastor, Father Robert Miller. Interment will follow at the Beaver Cemetery. Online condolences may be shared at nollfuneral.com.
In lieu of flowers the family ask that donations be made, in her name, to Saints Peter and Paul School.
