Violet M. Horm

Violet M. Horm, 93, of Midland (Ohioville), passed away peacefully Wednesday, August 30, 2023.

Born September 18, 1929 in East Liverpool, Ohio, she was a daughter of the late George and Rachel Gailey. Violet worked as a book keeper & was an office manager at several local car dealerships until her retirement.

In addition to her parents, Violet was preceded in death by her husband, Guy E. Horm; and her siblings Martha Chaffee, George Gailey, Tom Gailey and Clark Gailey.

She will be greatly missed by her daughter, Diane M. Horm and her son-in-law Kevin Thomsen; brother, Ronald Gailey; sisters, Grace Ann Trevino, Carolyn S. Kovalesky, Nancy Kovalesky and Jeanne Lowe; in addition to numerous nieces, nephews, and other extended family members.

Friends will be received Tuesday, September 5, 2023 from 2 PM to 4 PM and 6 PM to 8 PM in the Noll Funeral Home, Inc., 333 Third St., Beaver.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Katrina Bosco and Judy McKay of Gateway Hospice and the staff at Celebration Villa for their love and compassionate care given to Violet during the last year.
