Violet M. "Vi" Mesing

October 9, 1927 — December 21, 2016

Violet M. “Vi” Mesing, 89, of Brighton Township, passed away Wednesday, December 21, 2016 at Providence Care Center, Beaver Falls. Born October 9, 1927, she was the eldest child of the late Theron O. and Ida K. McClellan. Vi was a faithful member of the Fairview Reformed Presbyterian Church (P.C.A), Ohioville. She was a former active member of Zion Lutheran Church, Coraopolis for over 40 years where she enjoyed teaching Sunday School and singing in the choir. In addition to her parents, Vi was preceded in death by her beloved husband of nearly 65 years, Arthur Ernest Mesing in 2011; two sisters, Doris Mesing and Loretta Boyer. She will be sadly missed by her three children, John A. “Max” Mesing, North Sewickley Township, Peggy L. Mesing, and William A. (Peggy A.) Mesing, all of Brighton Township; one sister, Kate Anderson, Findlay Township; one brother, Theron “Sonny” McClellan, Hopewell; six grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren. Friends will be received Tuesday, December 27, 2016 from 4 pm until 7 pm in the Noll Funeral Home, Inc., 333 Third St., Beaver. Additional visitation will take place Wednesday, December 28, 2016 from 10 am until time of service at 11 am at Fairview Reformed Presbyterian Church, 6366 Tuscarawas Road, Industry. Pastor Emeritus Ric Raines will officiate. A private interment will follow at Grandview Cemetery, Beaver Falls. Online condolences may be shared at nollfuneral.com.
