Virginia L. Lowrie

Virginia Lee Lowrie, 81, of Beaver, passed away Sunday, December 4, 2016. Born March 11, 1935 in Warren, OH, she was a daughter of the late Donald and Georgia Steele. A resident of Beaver since 1970, Virginia retired as Director of Materials Management at Friendship Ridge, Brighton Township, after 33 years of service. She was a member of the Bridgewater Presbyterian Church, Past Matron of Woodlawn Chapter #164 Order of the Eastern Star, Bridgewater, and former member of the White Shrine. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband Kenneth B. Lowrie, September 1, 1991. Virginia is survived by two sons; Bryan K. (Kathy Jo) Lowrie, Monaca, and Todd K. Lowrie, Brighton Township; one daughter, Lynda Lowrie, Brighton Township; and two grandchildren, Kevin B. (Anna) Lowrie, Manassas, VA, and Maura J. Lowrie, Monaca. Friends will be received Thursday, December 8, 2016 from 6 pm until 8 pm in the Noll Funeral Home, Inc., 333 Third St., Beaver where a memorial service by the Woodlawn Chapter #164 O.E.S. will take place at 7:30 pm. A funeral service will be conducted Friday, December 9, 2016 at 12 pm at the funeral home with interment to follow at Sylvania Hills Memorial Park, Rochester.
