Virginia L Thomas

Virginia L. Thomas, 80, of Vanport, passed away August 5, 2021, with her family by her side. Born on October 16, 1940, she was the daughter of the late Gladys Summers Petuch, and a member of Rochester Free Methodist Church. Virginia truly touched so many lives through her work as a babysitter, having worked at several daycares. Along with her mother, she is preceded in death by her sister, Maryann Rose; and her brother, Chuck Summers. She will be sadly missed by her husband of nearly 50 years, Leonard J. Thomas; her son and daughter-in-law, Charles and Melissa Ziegler, of Chippewa; her step-daughter, Lori Ann Thomas, of Calcutta, OH; her five grandchildren, Nathaniel (Brittany Hemer) Ziegler, Gabrielle, and Joshua Ziegler, Joey Thomas, and B.J. Wagner; and her two great-grandchildren, Honesty and Tyler. Friends will be received on Monday August 9, 2021 from 3pm-7pm in the Noll Funeral Home Inc., 333 Third Street, Beaver, PA 15009, where a funeral service will be held on Tuesday August 10, 2021 at 11:15am.
