William W. Dawson

William W. Dawson, 80, of Beaver Falls, peacefully entered into eternal rest on Sunday, August 15, 2021.

Bill grew up on College Hill in Beaver Falls, graduating from Beaver Falls High School (‘59) and the University of Pittsburgh with a BS in Metallurgical Engineering (‘64). He was employed at B&W Koppel, co-founded ComputerLand in Beaver, PA, and Bill retired in 2009 after 23 years with Bertelsen Company (Columbiana, OH).

Bill was the beloved husband of Barbara St. Lawrence Dawson; father of Leah (Bo) Ethridge, Tara (Jeff) Butler, Sharon (Ben) Rager, Jason (Kristin) Pettler, Ellen Dawson, and Jaina (Donnie) Perry; he also had 11 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

Bill was preceded in death by his mother and father Ralph and Evelyn (Riggle) Dawson, and his brother Ed (Lynda) Dawson.

A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, August 22, 2021 at Chippewa United Methodist Church in Beaver Falls. Visitation will begin at 1:30 p.m. followed by the service at 3:00 p.m. Professional services have been entrusted to the Noll Funeral Home, Inc., 333 Third St., Beaver.
