Wilma Jane Carling

Wilma Jane Carling, 88, a lifelong resident of Beaver, passed away Tuesday, October 9, 2018.

Born April 8, 1930 in Brighton Twp.; she was a daughter of the late Morgan Jones and Hazel Nevill Jones. A devoted wife, caring mother, a proud grandmother and great-grandmother, Jane lived a life of service, helping others as an LPN and actively participating in her church, Chapel PCA, Brighton Twp.

In addition to her parents, Jane was preceded in death by her beloved husband, John R. Carling; her twin, Velma Haffey; her brother, Jeff Jones; and sister Rose Jackson.

She will be greatly missed by her son, John Richard (Vera) Carling, Brighton Twp.; three daughters, Hazel (Rocky) Rocksandwich, Brighton Twp., Lucy (Jack) Weaver, Tulsa, OK, and Rebecca (Rick) Quigley, Vanport Twp.; two sisters, Luberta (Robert) Schleicher and Vernice (William) McChesney; 13 grandchildren, Jessica (Justin) Stewart, Emily (Gino) Paoletti, Megan Carling, Cassie (Matthew) Nester, Matthew (Ally) Quigley, Leah, and Justin Quigley, Jennifer (Damon) Toppah, Christy (Chris) Locker, James (Dana) Whittaker and Amy (Ryan) Bennet, and Richard and Sam Disney; along with great-grandchildren, Joshua Malone, Afton and Marissa Locker, Abigal, Noah, and Anna Paoletti, Micah Toppah, Vincent Moakley, and Harley, Addison, and Sam Disney, Jr.

Friends will be received Saturday, October 13, 2018 from 2 p.m. until time of service at 4 p.m. to be conducted by Pastor Steve Maker at Chapel PCA, Barclay Hill Road, Brighton Twp.
