Yvonne Sprankle Cole

Yvonne Sprankle Cole, 85, of Raccoon Twp., passed away Friday, December 24, 2021, at Heritage Valley, Beaver.

Born October 31, 1936 in Rochester, she was a daughter of the late Tom and Athia Lutton George. A loving and compassionate person, Yvonne had a long career as a home health care nurse’s aide, working for many years at the former Beaver County Geriatric Center, Brighton Twp., and then as a personal aide until her retirement. She enjoyed spending time with her family, shopping, and traveling, especially with her church, Mill Creek Church, Hookstown, where she was a faithful and active member.

In addition to her parents, Yvonne was preceded in death by her first husband, John Sprankle; her second husband, Malcolm Cole; two sons, Joel and Steve; and two sisters, Leota Waters Biega, and Kathleen Burton.

She will be greatly missed by her daughter, Susan (Don) Vallance; brothers, Kinsey (Peggy) George, and Keith (Betty) George; her granddaughter, Erica (Dan); and two great-grandchildren, Tyler and Madison. Yvonne will also be missed by numerous nieces and nephews, who loved her like a second mom. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her.
